Cooking, culture and communication
Learning by doing; reconciliation of the intellectual and the emotional; relaxed learning in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere; speaking French in real-life situations; discovering the French culture…all the ingredients that make up our pedagogic concept are combined in our cooking course.
The course is given by Eduardo, who has 13 years of experience in this field. Besides being a passionate cook, he is also a great wine connoisseur and a qualified sommelier. He appreciates all types of cooking but has a slight preference for the Mediterranean cuisine. He will reveal his tips, creations, and show you how to prepare these recipes at home.
We offer two types of courses:
Cooking course + French course
Along with your Active French course you can participate during 4 afternoons in the cooking of a menu with a starter, a main course and a desert. At the dinner table you will share your creation with all the students of Fleur and receive their compliments! This course can only be booked in conjunction with a French course, or by a person who accompanies someone taking a French course.
4 sessions of 3 hours each - generally in the afternoon, of your choice and according to the program: € 200
Gourmet Workshop
Our 'Atelier Gourmand': French culture, cuisine and language (one week) € 455
This workshop is for people who do not wish to take a French course but would like to revise and practice their knowledge of French.
The cooking courses take place in a convivial atmosphere. You will have a pleasant time with the other cooking enthusiasts, discover new recipes and prepare a menu that you will enjoy together in the dining room or in the garden. The preparation of the menu, the shopping at the local markets and the visits to producers will put you at the heart of French culture and will mobilize your communication skills. Annick will assist you and give you the words you’re missing. During the excursions you can discover the beautiful Dordogne.
