Get to know France at ‘La Maison de FLEUR’

FLEUR is a residential school. At Fleur the courses and the accommodation take place under the same roof. You will be staying in a large 19th century manor house, in the center of a village that is typical for this region. ‘La maison’ has a large terrace where you can enjoy the sun and it is surrounded by a fenced garden, which has many little corners where you can sit back and relax.
Feeling at home is part of Fleur’s concept. Staying at 'La maison' stimulates communication between students and it is also a place from where you can discover the village, its inhabitants and the region: somebody stops by for a coffee… comes for dinner or invites you for a walk… many opportunities to practice your French and discover life ‘à la française’. Even if you make mistakes or find it difficult to speak, you will overcome your timidity soon enough!
Every day ends with a delicious dinner made from fresh produce, prepared with love and talent by Eduardo. You will eat at the big table in the dining room or, most of the time, outside, in the garden, on the covered terrace. And, in the evening, with a little glass of wine to loosen the tongue and bring together the hearts, you will see that learning French can be a real pleasure.

At ‘La maison’, hospitality has a long tradition. Already in the 19th century, it was a stage coach station that offered board and lodging to men and horses. The stable is now the garage and the former inn a romantic house which offers lovingly decorated guestrooms and culinary delights. If you can appreciate the charm of an authentic French house, you will like staying in 'La Maison'.
The rooms are simple but very clean and nicely furnished. The beds are big and much care is taken of the bedding. All the rooms have central heating and are equipped with a wash basin and the typical French 'bidet'. Showers and baths are on the first floor. If you want a private bathroom, you can book the former 'ballroom' - now 2 very pretty rooms with all the comfort you need and direct access to the garden.

Included in the price are:- 12 Nights in a large room with two beds
